For our myspace we wanted to take various ideas from the myspaces of other celebrities to make it look professional rather than a simple amateur myspace. From our research we can see that different devices are used to create the celebrity promotion feel. To do this we will create a banner at the top of the page featuring the artist on her own, with the album cover next to them with a bright banner around it. We want to keep the same fonts as the album to keep a house style that the audience will be familiar with.
Below the banner we want to have a list of events and upcoming shows featuring the artist so that the information is easy to access for the audience. Next we want to include a mini biography of the artist or a press release giving the audience some background to her. When viewing other myspaces thier tends to be a lot of merchandise on the myspace and other bits that to sell the song, we would like to include itunes and some merchandise on oursb to make it more realistic and visual rather than just words.
